BACKGROUND
I am an experienced birth researcher and trained birth worker. My current research investigates the intersection between reproductive justice & environmental justice. Previously I studied medicalization of labor and patient preference for cesarean birth. My work has been published in the American Journal of Human Biology, the Journal of Mother Studies, and Frontiers in Sociology.
